From a family of contractors, by way of a classroom
Eduardo comes from a family of contractors, and painting is the trade he came up in. He was working at Irving ISD when he decided to go out on his own, and started Anaya’s Touch in 2016. The business grew the way a trade business is supposed to grow — on referrals. Read the reviews and you will keep seeing the same phrase: “came highly recommended”.
Painting is still a large part of the work, and it is why the finish gets the attention it does. But the range grew with the referrals: drywall and texture, then carpentry and built-ins, then flooring, then whole kitchens and bathrooms, then additions, patio covers, concrete and roofing. On his own Google profile he puts it like this: “We have over 10 years of experience in residential & commercial work. Our focus is bringing life to your ideas in a variety of ways.”
What “insured, licensed subcontractors” actually means in Texas
Texas is unusual: there is no state licence for general contractors, remodelers or roofers. Anyone here can print a card and call themselves one. Plumbers and electricians are a different matter — both are licensed by the state and both licences are searchable online.
So rather than a badge that does not exist, here is the plain version. Anaya’s Touch carries insurance. The plumbing and electrical on your job is done by licensed subcontractors, and you are welcome to ask for the licence number and check it. Permits are pulled where the city requires them. Those three things are what actually protects a homeowner in this state, and they are worth asking every contractor who quotes you.

How contractor licensing works in Texas
Plumbing
Licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners. Every plumber on a job must hold a state licence, and licences are searchable on the Board's website.
Electrical
Licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Electricians and electrical contractors both hold state licences, and both are searchable.
General contracting, remodeling and roofing
Texas issues NO state licence for any of these. Anyone can call themselves a general contractor or a roofer here, which is why references, insurance and a written scope matter more in Texas than in states that license the trade.
Permits
Arlington and the surrounding cities require permits and inspections for additions, structural work, and electrical, plumbing and mechanical work - whatever the state licensing position is. A remodeler who talks you out of a permit is saving themselves time, not saving you money.
